Desert Rose

Sowed the seeds
With no water to feed
Surrounded by weeds
That thrive on greed

Yet on the other hand
She bloomed on barren land
Stood on scorching sand
Sun hid with her command

But her fear lingers
Especially during her winters
Thorns inching her fingers
Feet filled with splinters
